Huge Scholar Anna Donley, a sophomore at NWU majoring in psychology and Spanish, has been awarded a Fulbright Summer Institute grant to spend four weeks attending the Queens University Belfast Summer Institute in Northern Ireland. Only 60 undergraduates in the US are selected for this award. As Anna explains, “My background in psychology made me interested in the elements of conflict resolution from a social psychology perspective and the elements of national identify that can unite and divide.” Last year, Anna traveled to Estonia as part of a Huge Foundation trip. Earlier this summer she participated in a service learning trip in Thailand and, after returning from her Fulbright in Ireland, she will spend the 2016-17 academic year st UPAEP University in Puebla, Mexico. Anna explained, “I hope to come back with proficiency in Spanish, more independence, and a wealth of experiences to apply to my future.” In just two years, Anna has evolved into a true international scholar.
