In the fall of 2011, The Harry and Reba Huge Foundation invited Dr. Robert Gallo to travel to Estonia to meet with top government officials and to deliver a series of lectures at the University of Tartu. The Founder and Director of the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the co-discoverer that the HIV virus is the cause of AIDS, Dr. Gallo met extensively with medical faculty and medical students at the University of Tartu. These meetings culminated in a university-wide lecture in the great hall of the University of Tartu.
